Description

The SA8301 is a single-channel, low-on-resistance DC motor driver IC designed for low-voltage systems. It integrates four motor control functions: forward, reverse, stop, and brake.

The SA8301 features built-in thermal protection. When the chip temperature exceeds the threshold set by the internal protection circuit, the internal circuitry shuts down the integrated power switches and cuts off the load current, thereby preventing safety hazards—such as smoke or fire in the plastic package—caused by overheating.
