Applied Concepts (ACI) was founded in 1998 to design and manufacture DC to AC Inverters that were used to power Cold Cathode Florescent Lamps (CCFL’s) . CCFLs are most commonly used as the backlight in LCD TVs and monitors, providing all of the light needed to project images on the screen. ACI’s inverters support a range of industries and applications including Medical, Industrial, Military, Aviation, Marine, and Commercial applications that emphasize performance, reliability, and other specialty lighting or power needs.
