Description

The AL-D8-xxDCW series lightning surge protectors provides superior protection of DC control lines from

transients and surges. These units will protect 8 individual single ended DC control lines. The design incorporates

uni-polar Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes rated at 1500 Watts (2000 Watt TVS Diodes are available

on special orders). The unit limits the positive voltage swing on the line to the TVS Diode voltage rating. These

units are designed to be connected to the lines to be protected and ground. Grounding lugs provide tie points for

earth ground.

These units feature a weather resistant housing featuring a lockable hinged cover and mounting holes are

provided on the rear of the enclosure for mounting. The two cable grommets may be adjusted to cable size and

are removable.
